Founded in 1992, we at Jomar have over 25 years of experience in large machining and fabrication projects in a variety of industries. In 2007 Jomar joined the Entech Inc. family of companies and began specializing in tire recycling equipment which gives old tires a second life transforming this highly engineered material into a variety of different products with applications ranging from athletic field turf to roadway asphalt.

With the use of Entech’s full-service tire recycling facility we are able to develop, test and refine all of our Raptor line of tire recycling equipment in house. This distinction has made Jomar an industry leader and given us the ability to constantly manufacture and test equipment made specifically for our developing industry. With an emphasis on innovation, service, & simplicity, our equipment is always built with the end user in mind as we service and setup our turnkey systems across North America. In order to back up our core value of service we manufacture all of our equipment at our facility, from our shredder blades to actually setting up and testing entire systems before sending them out the door. We are constantly expanding our manufacturing capabilities in order to produce and service all of our equipment in house and at a moment’s notice reducing downtime for our customers. Jomar’s current production capacities include: Flame and Laser cutters, CNC milling and lathe operations, robotic welding with continuous feed wire, CNC press brake, large scale paint booth, and engineering design team versed in a range of different problems and industries

Job Description:

Develop mechanical systems for innovative material handling and processing equipment with ongoing troubleshooting, improvement to production processes, development and integration of new technologies, while supporting assembly, electrical, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in engineering projects regarding new products, feature designs and change requests.
  • Embrace continuous product improvement initiatives, cost reductions, quality and manufacturability improvements.
  • Communicate new designs and design changes internally & externally while maintaining good work relationships
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and optimize material flow processes.
  • Identify technical and schedule risks associated with a design decision and communicate them.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology and or experience in machinery design and drafting.
  • Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD software (such as Autodesk Inventor, Catia,etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Must possess a strong understanding of plan design generation, modeling, documentation and design standards.
  • High mechanical aptitude with an ability to think critically and problem solve independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in interactions with all organizational departments and functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
